Privately owned clinic in Geelong, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Senior Sonographer to join our team as a full-time role, leading and mentoring within the imaging department while delivering high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services. The successful candidate will perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations and contribute to clinical excellence.

The role requires ASA registration, 5+ years post-qualification experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate

Qualifications

• Registration or eligibility for ASA registration.
• Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience as a sonographer in diagnostic ultrasound.
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple ultrasound examinations.
• Proven ability to mentor and supervise junior staff with leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills to explain imaging findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations across specialties.
• Produce high-quality images and reports meeting industry standards.
• Mentor, train and supervise junior sonographers and imaging staff.
• Contribute to quality assurance programmes and best-practice protocols.
• Liaise with radiologists and clinicians to optimise patient care.
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation.
