Job summary

Starburst is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to partner with field sales, own technical sales activities, and lead customer engagements from discovery to closure. You will demonstrate capabilities, run proofs of value, and guide migrations from legacy platforms while delivering expert architectural guidance.

The role requires travel (~25%), strong SQL and data warehousing expertise, and collaboration with Engineering and Support teams to ensure customer success in a fast-paced startup

Responsibilities

• Grow and retain accounts.
• Own the technical aspects of the sales cycle and drive projects to closure.
• Define success criteria and educate customers during evaluations.
• Define and execute proof-of-concept studies.
• Design demos, reference architectures, and integrations.
• Coordinate with engineering for deployments and migrations.
