Job summary

Telstra Corporation seeks a Senior Software Engineering Lead to guide a geographically dispersed team, delivering resilient orchestration systems and evolving a Temporal-based architecture built on TypeScript. You will work closely with Product Owners and Architects to design transitions and workflows, while exploring AI-enabled development and observability capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience designing and delivering enterprise software and cloud solutions.
• Strong expertise in Cloud, Data & AI Engineering, including Generative AI and observability.
• Deep understanding of telecommunications transition management platforms and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a geographically diverse team of developers.
• Develop and evolve a scalable TRAMAS orchestration system using Temporal and microservices in TypeScript.
• Provide level-4 support for errored transitions using Splunk, AWS Console, and MongoDB to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Service Designers, and Architects to design new transitions and workflows.
• Integrate North and South bound systems with TRAMAS orchestration and assist product owners during leave.
• Research and develop new orchestration technologies and AI-driven workflows.
