Job summary

EOS Group's Space Systems division seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, and support high-performance software for space telescope and laser platforms. You will work across the full software lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for mission-critical observatory applications.

With 3+ years of C++ experience on Windows and Linux, you will implement tests, CI/CD pipelines, and system automation, while contributing to real-time

Qualifications

• 3+ years in C++ development in complex engineering settings.
• Proficient in Python for automation and data processing.
• Experience with unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment.
• Familiarity with safety-critical software and hardware interaction.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems for space telescope and laser operations.
• Deliver high-quality, reliable software for mission-critical environments.
• Support system integration, verification, and validation.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, optical, and systems engineering teams.
• Implement and enhance DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and analyse complex software and system issues.
• Contribute to distributed processing and real-time systems.
• Develop and enhance visualization tools and user interfaces for operation.
