Job summary

Amber is building a remote-first engineering team in Australia to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy solutions. The role focuses on front- and back-end development across a TS-based stack, mentoring engineers, and delivering scalable cloud-native features for home energy products.

You'll work with React Native, React web, AWS Lambda, and databases like DynamoDB and Postgres, collaborating across product, design, and operations to ship impactful energy tech.

Qualifications

• A positive mindset: curious, collaborative, can-do.
• Min 5+ years of commercial software development in Web or Mobile.
• Experience mentoring or leading software engineers.
• Commercial experience with stack technologies is a strong plus.
• Experience with languages sharing features with TypeScript (JS, C#, Go, etc.).
• Generalist across stack; deep frontend and backend skills; bonus for CDK & Postgres.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Collaborate with product and wider company to ship right things the right way.
• Mentor and support other engineers.
