You will own features end-to-end from backend through interface, collaborating with a small team and founders. The role emphasizes building with TypeScript/Node.js, React, and AI-assisted workflows.

The team leverages AI tools in planning and coding, with a strong focus on money movement and identity systems. This founder-led environment offers real ownership and impact as the product grows.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering in TypeScript and Node.js with ownership over delivered code.
• Experience in a regulated environment with money movement and identity management.
• Experience with React; Google Cloud is advantageous.
• Able to work closely with founders in a small, early stage team.
• Genuine curiosity about using AI tools to improve development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship features end to end, from backend through to interface.
• Work across React and Node.js on systems handling money movement and identity.
• Use AI tooling as part of everyday engineering, from planning through to code.
• Work closely with the founders on product direction and technical decisions.
• Write clean, well tested code you would be comfortable maintaining yourself.
