Netwealth in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead major initiatives from design through production. You will own key features across React/TypeScript/Ionic, build APIs and integrations, and help drive engineering practices. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and mentoring the team.

You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with product, design and partner teams, with opportunities to shape fintech solutions and contribute to growth.

Qualificações

• Seasoned software engineer with senior/lead experience in a fast-growing startup.
• Deep TypeScript expertise across front end and back end, with strong React experience.
• Experience designing and shipping APIs and integrations with partner systems.
• Strong NoSQL data modelling, ideally Firestore.
• Solid testing, CI/CD, and security practices.
• Experience instrumenting product analytics and using data to drive decisions.
• Technical leadership, owning complex projects and cross-functional collaboration.
• Clear, proactive communication and risk management.
• Regular use of AI tools in engineering work.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture, design and delivery of major features.
• Build features in React/TypeScript/Ionic and TypeScript services.
• Design integrations with partner systems, API contracts, authentication and data sync.
• Instrument analytics with Mixpanel and Iterable.
• Maintain automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring and security.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Document decisions and raise risks early.
• Utilize AI coding tools to speed delivery.
