Job summary

Netwealth is seeking a Software Engineer to join one of our product tribes in Melbourne CBD. You will work across backend and frontend technologies, delivering modern solutions used by advisers and investors across Australia.

You'll collaborate with Product Owners, Quality Engineers and other Developers to build scalable software and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise building server and client-side applications using C# .NET within complex enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and NoSQL databases
• Experience working with Azure and cloud-based technologies
• Exposure to Angular and/or React development

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Software Engineers to join one of our product tribes and help build experiences relied on by thousands of advisers and investors across Australia. Working across both backend and frontend technologies, you'll develop modern solutions using C# .NET, Azure and Angular, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Quality Engineers and other Developers to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys learning, asks thoughtful questions and is motivated by continuous improvement. You'll work alongside experienced engineers who are passionate about their craft, in an environment that encourages knowledge sharing, experimentation and growth.

About You

You're an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and finding simple, effective solutions. You care about building quality software, working collaboratively and continually improving both your skills and the products you help create.

You'll bring:

• Expertise building server and client-side applications using C# .NET within complex enterprise environments.
• A desire to learn, adapt and embrace new ideas and technologies
• Knowledge of SQL Server and NoSQL databases
• Experience working with Azure and cloud-based technologies
• Exposure to Angular and/or React development
• Most importantly, you're someone who is naturally curious, enjoys working with smart and supportive people, and is excited by the opportunity to build meaningful products while developing your career in a modern, high-performing engineering environment.

Recruitment Process

• 30-minute Talent Screening (Teams)
• 60-75 minute Technical Interview including a live coding exercise (Teams)
• Online Psychometric & Cognitive Assessments completed in your own time
• 60-minute Final Interview at our Melbourne CBD office

We'll work at a pace that suits you. Whether you'd like time to balance current work and personal commitments, or prefer to move quickly, we can tailor the process to your availability and, in many cases, complete all stages within approximately two weeks.
