Job summary

Netwealth, based in Adelaide, Australia, is hiring a senior software engineer to design, build and maintain scalable applications using C# .NET, Angular and Azure. You will collaborate with product and business stakeholders to shape solutions from idea through production and own the software you deliver with a focus on reliability and quality.

You will mentor other engineers and contribute to architectural decisions, while embracing modern tools, automation and AI-assisted approaches to deliver

Qualifications

• Strong C# .NET development experience, building scalable applications.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and cloud-native technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Frontend development experience with Angular and/or React.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience mentoring others to uplift team capability.

The opportunity

Based in Adelaide, You'll join a supportive, cross-functional team of Engineers, Product Owners and Software Engineers in Test, working together to deliver experiences that make a real difference for advisers and investors.

In this role, you'll:

• Design, build and enhance scalable applications using C# .NET, Microservices, Angular and Azure

• Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders to shape solutions from idea through to production

• Take ownership of the software you build, championing reliability, quality and continuous improvement

• Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering standards

• Mentor other engineers, helping lift capability across the team

• Use modern tools, automation and AI-assisted ways of working to deliver value faster and more effectively

About you.
You'll bring a thoughtful approach to engineering, strong technical foundations, and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.

• Strong C# .NET development experience, building scalable applications

• Hands-on experience with Azure and cloud-native technologies

• Knowledge of SQL Server and NoSQL databases

• Front-end development experience with Angular and/or React

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

• Experience mentoring others and contributing beyond individual delivery to uplift team capability and outcomes
