Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team in Sydney. You will design, develop and maintain distributed systems and internal platforms spanning cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will contribute to system architecture, drive automation, and build reliable, observable services while working with cross‑functional stakeholders in a dynamic, technically focused environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong development experience with Python, Golang or C++.
• Experience across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Experience with containers and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of reliability, monitoring and observability.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation and modern software development practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

I'm currently working with a well-established organisation that is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a collaborative and technically focused engineering team.

This is a broad software engineering position covering application development, distributed systems, cloud platforms and automation. You'll work on software, services and internal platforms that support teams across the organisation.
