Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead software maintenance and implement changes for the Defence High Frequency Communications System. You will develop and maintain software components and simulators, while guiding investigations and coordinating with test teams for controlled releases.

Ideal candidates have extensive software engineering experience, knowledge of defence programs and ASDEFCON workflows, and the ability to work in a regulated environment with hybrid

Qualifications

Extensive experience in software engineering and maintenance.
Experience with defence or regulated environments is highly regarded.
Experience delivering complex investigations and engineering changes.
Understanding of the Defence Capability Life Cycle and ASDEFCON engagements.

Responsibilities

Lead software maintenance activities and engineering changes.
Develop and maintain software components and simulators.
Lead technical investigations and issue analysis.
Oversee changes through the Software Development Environment and support testing.
Collaborate with integration, test teams and customer approvals for releases.
