Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking a Systems Engineer to apply engineering expertise across the product lifecycle, delivering investigations, analysis and documented solutions for complex products and services.

You will work with autonomy, planning and delivering your own work while engaging in technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards and lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in relatable technical/engineering roles.
• Understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software).
• Exposure and experience in Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
• Desirable systems engineering experience in a RF, HF and/or communications relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated experience of requirements management and use of associated toolsets (e.g. IBM DOORS).
• Proficient in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other project management and documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering expertise across the product lifecycle to deliver investigations, analysis, engineering solutions and documentation.
• Plan and deliver your own work with autonomy and participate in technical reviews with stakeholders.
• Maintain engineering rigour across lifecycle, including risk, safety, standards compliance and process development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and business development activities.
