Job summary

Shred-X is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to own the development, improvement and maintenance of software solutions across Shred-X and Med-X. The role is based at the Yatala Branch with occasional travel between sites.

You will join the IT team in a hands‑on position focusing on performance, integration, automation and practical technology to boost operational efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in software development.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, SQL and Visual Studio.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining modern business applications.
• Experience working with REST APIs, SDKs and system integrations.
• Ability to analyze and improve system performance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software solutions across Shred-X and Med-X.
• Develop high-quality, efficient and maintainable code using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Work primarily with C#, .NET, SQL Server, Visual Studio, JavaScript and HTML5.
• Participate in the full software delivery lifecycle including planning, development, testing and deployment.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Analyze application performance and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Improve system speed, reliability, and user experience.
• Consume and integrate APIs and SDKs to extend system functionality.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and reduce manual effort.
