Job summary

LEAP Dev, the software house powering LEAP Legal Software, invites a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Product team in Sydney. You will design, build, and maintain backend services in C#/.NET with significant React-based frontend work.

You’ll craft RESTful APIs, drive integrations, and contribute to scalable, event-driven architectures in a fast-moving Agile setting. You’ll collaborate with lawyers and technologists to translate client needs into innovative solutions, employing CI/CD,

Qualifications

Five+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong backend experience with C#/.NET and RESTful APIs.
Three+ years of React or similar frontend experience.
Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services in C#/.NET (~70%) and frontend in React (~30%).
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, back-end services, integrations, and event-driven solutions.
Develop and maintain modern, responsive frontend components with React.
Apply best practices including agile methodologies, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and engineering standards.
