Job summary

LEAP Legal Software, Inc. in Sydney is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join LEAP Dev. You’ll design and build web applications using React on the frontend and a modern server-side language, collaborating with product owners and legal experts to turn ideas into production software.

You’ll work in a flexible, hybrid setup that supports a healthy work–life balance and offers opportunities to impact how law firms operate through AI-powered features.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in frontend development using React.
• Expertise in at least one modern server-side language.
• Solid experience with database technologies.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, architecture, and best practices.
• Proficiency in TDD and automated testing practices.
• Familiarity with AWS and related cloud tools.
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and client ops to translate ideas into web applications.
• Build and maintain frontend and backend services with LEAP Dev.
• Research and implement frontend trends and best practices.
• Ensure scalable, secure authentication and data handling.
• Refine, refactor, and debug code; improve deployment workflows.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and end-to-end ownership
