Job summary

Settify is rebuilding a consumer-facing AI/LegalTech product from the ground up. You will design and ship backend services in TypeScript, own the AI infrastructure and deployment pipelines, and ensure observability and cost efficiency across an AWS-based platform.

You will work in a small team in Sydney, collaborating with international engineers to deliver greenfield features and scalable infrastructure while maintaining security and reliability.

Qualifications

• CS or Eng degree or equivalent depth.
• Strong backend focus with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Deep AWS expertise and real ownership of platform.
• Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services in TypeScript/Node.js with APIs and data models.
• Own deployment pipelines and observability for shipped features.
• Run and improve AWS infrastructure and cost dashboards.
• Own AI infra access, monitoring, rate limits and retries.
• Design scalable schemas and ensure data integrity.
