Job summary

Heidi is building the AI Care Partner to empower clinicians and improve patient care. You will own collaboration features from spec to production, designing shared APIs and scalable authorization to support tens of millions of access checks daily.

You'll work across the stack with React/TypeScript on the frontend and Python on the backend, collaborating with tech leads, PMs and designers to translate clinical workflows into practical, impactful features.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to own feature delivery from spec to production.
• Experience building production software in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Comfort moving between frontend and backend.
• Ability to design scalable APIs and data models.
• Knowledge of patient data considerations and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of collaboration features from spec to production.
• Build shared APIs and building blocks for Heidi teams.
• Run authorization services at scale with fast, correct data models.
• Work across the stack: React/TypeScript frontend and Python backend.
• Collaborate with tech lead, PM and designers to translate clinical workflows into features.
