Job summary

Orica's Digital Solutions team is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help shape OREPro 3D, used by mining operations worldwide to simulate rock movement before and after blasting. You will work with a small team including a PM and BA and three other developers, reporting to the lead developer.

The role blends on-site and remote work across Australia. You'll build features across the stack, optimize performance for large datasets, and collaborate across global teams, leveraging TypeScript,

Qualifications

• Experience building end-to-end web applications (UI to API and DB).
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and React ecosystems.
• Ability to own features from conception to deployment.
• Experience profiling and memory budgeting.
• Familiarity with AI tooling for development.

Responsibilities

• Build features and fix bugs across the full stack from data model to 3D rendering and React UI.
• Ensure performance with large datasets and memory budgets.
• Integrate OREPro 3D with Predict for blast simulation, tracking, tuning, results, and replays.
• Industrialise optimisation and geometry algorithms used to cut dig polygons under production pressure.
