Job summary

Sofico is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Sydney for our Miles ERP platform. You will work on in-house development, spanning front, mid, and back-office modules that are highly configurable to client needs. The role involves a multidisciplinary team and active participation in agile ceremonies.

Based in Sydney with a hybrid model (office 3 days, remote 2 days), you will contribute to design, coding, and deployment while sharing knowledge with the Java community across Sofico’s global teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive software development experience (15+ years).
• Proficient in Java ecosystems and ORM frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SQL, JPA and database design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Sofico Miles ERP modules for automotive finance sectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including consultants and testers in an agile setup.
• Deliver robust, scalable backend services and maintain code quality.

This end-to-end solution encompasses front, mid, and back-office functions that can be extensively customized to the customers’ needs through configuration and custom development.You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes other developers, business consultants, and testers, covering our end-to-end business flow.
