Job summary

MYOB is seeking a Senior Developer to join its engineering team, shaping onboarding experiences and dashboard capabilities used by thousands of SME customers. You will work across the stack in an agile environment and contribute to modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development and CI/CD.

You will collaborate with engineers, principals and architects to deliver scalable, secure software, while mentoring teammates and balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform goals.

Qualifications

• Strong programming fundamentals and a track record of delivering robust, well-designed software solutions.
• Experience in full-stack development including TypeScript, React, .NET, C#, and Azure.
• Understanding of modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD, automation, testing, and continuous improvement.

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Developer to join our collaborative and customer-focused engineering team within MYOB Business. You’ll help shape the onboarding experience and dashboard capabilities used by thousands of SME customers, building features that help businesses get started faster, stay organised, and achieve more with MYOB.

Working closely with Engineers, Principals and Architects, you’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle, from analysis and solution design through to delivery and continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys working across the stack, thrives in an agile environment, and is excited by modern engineering practices, including the use of AI-assisted development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and solution design through to delivery, monitoring, and optimisation.
• Develop high-quality, secure, and well-tested code using modern engineering practices and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value while balancing immediate priorities with long-term platform goals.
• Leverage CI/CD pipelines, automation, and AI engineering tools to improve development efficiency and software quality.
• Mentor and support fellow engineers, sharing knowledge and helping build technical capability within the team.

About You

• You have strong programming fundamentals and a track record of delivering robust, well-designed software solutions.
• You bring experience in full-stack development, including TypeScript, React, .NET, C#, and Azure.
• You understand modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD, automation, testing, and continuous improvement.
