Akcelo in Sydney is seeking a strategic and influential Social Director to lead social for a major brand. You will shape the long-term social vision, counsel senior client stakeholders and drive opportunities that strengthen brand relevance and business growth.

You will build and mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary social team, set standards for outstanding work and ensure social is embedded across creative, strategy, media and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in senior social roles, ideally in a creative or advertising setting.
• Proven ability to set social strategy and lead multi-channel ecosystems for major brands.
• Ability to build, lead and develop high-performing teams across social disciplines.
• Strong client leadership and ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of social platforms, audience behaviour and emerging tech.
