Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Team Lead, Security Operations to join our Managed Security Operations Centre in Melbourne. This hands-on leadership role guides a small team of Security Analysts, delivering incident response, detection and daily security operations for a portfolio of customer environments.

You will combine technical security operations experience with coaching, customer engagement and operational ownership, ensuring high-quality outcomes and the team’s ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience in Security Operations Centre or MSSP environments.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR/XDR telemetry for incident investigations.
• Understanding of cloud security telemetry (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to lead and coach security analysts.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Security Analysts and provide regular feedback.
• Act as senior technical escalation point for complex security investigations.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of managed security services across multiple customer environments.
• Ensure accurate customer reporting and timely service commitments.
• Coordinate workload, delegation and quality assurance across the team.
• Participate in on-call rotation for out-of-hours security operations.
• Assist in containment of incidents and determine need for DFIR support.
• Guide investigations using security telemetry and data to drive actions.
