FemEdge Solutions is seeking an experienced SMSF Accountant to join our growing team in Melbourne. The role blends hands-on SMSF accounting with advisory opportunities and client contact, with hybrid working and clear pathways to leadership.

You will work directly with senior SMSF specialists and leadership, taking ownership of your work, delivering quality outcomes, and progressively handling more clients and team workflow as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Solid, hands-on SMSF experience within Australian public practice.
• Strong Australian tax knowledge and experience reviewing SMSF compliance work.
• Confident preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage priorities, follow through and take ownership.
• Supportive of colleagues and open to feedback and development.
• Complex strategy or advisory experience is welcome, but not essential.
• Previous management experience isn't required—you may be ready for your first step towards leadership.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review SMSF financial statements and tax returns.
• Identify technical issues and respond to client queries.
• Attend client strategy meetings from day one.
• Develop your knowledge of complex SMSF strategies and advice.
• Coordinate offshore delivery and support junior team members.
• Build trusted client relationships and progressively manage your own portfolio.
• Develop towards a Team Leader role, with further progression based on performance and contribution.
