Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our production systems in a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and operate high-availability services and mentor junior engineers.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and ongoing infrastructure improvements, including disaster recovery planning and DR testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years in Site Reliability/Production Engineering on large-scale systems.
• Strong knowledge of containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design, deploy, and operate large-scale, high-availability systems.
• Develop and maintain automation to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership for SRE initiatives and mentorship.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues with software engineers.
• Continuously monitor system health and address issues proactively.
• Drive infrastructure innovation and process improvements via experimentation.
• Participate in disaster recovery plan design and implementation.
