Job summary
Blinq is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help design and operate a scalable, globally reliable platform that powers millions of first interactions. You will partner with platform, backend and product engineers to automate operations and improve reliability.
You will shape AI-driven infrastructure, enhance developer productivity, and strengthen incident response as Blinq scales internationally.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform/DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and operating production systems at scale.
- Experience designing high-availability, fault-tolerant architectures.
- Strong experience in monitoring, observability, logging and incident management.
- Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- AI fluency and using AI tools to automate workflows and improve productivity.
- Collaborative mindset with mentoring ability and ownership.
- Desire to improve systems and processes continuously.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and operate highly reliable infrastructure that scales globally.
- Define and own SLOs, SLAs and error budgets with engineering teams.
- Evolve observability, incident response and on-call practices to minimize downtime.
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows and developer experience.
- Identify reliability bottlenecks and reduce manual toil via automation and AI.
- Build internal tooling and AI-powered workflows for faster delivery and reliability.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across platform, infra and product engineering.
- Champion engineering best practices across reliability, scalability, security and performance.
