Job summary

Blitzy is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own architecture and drive the highest-leverage work across backend, infrastructure, and AI surfaces. Reporting to the CTO, you will shape direction with the founding team and deliver enterprise-grade software with high availability.

You will write production code, review peers, and leverage Generative AI daily to accelerate delivery while mentoring teammates and solving complex problems in an in-person setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with Python, Terraform, and AWS.
• Proven track record leading technical initiatives across multiple systems.
• Strong backend skills in Node.js, NuxtJS, Express.js, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and roadmap for core platform areas balancing speed, quality, security and scalability.
• Write, review and ship production code delivering meaningful outcomes.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to improve work and mentor others.
• Mentor engineers and drive postmortems for reliability.
