Job summary

Harmony Australasia is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality adherence. The role coordinates subcontractors, trades, suppliers, inspections, and field staff, bridging field execution and project management with a focus on productivity and issue resolution.

The position reports to the Capital Projects Manager and follows a 5/2,4/3 roster, requiring strong leadership and proactive

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or relevant)
• 10–15+ years of engineering/project management experience
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution
• Excellent communication and scheduling skills

Responsibilities

• Manage Project Engineers and site teams to deliver on schedule and budget
• Coordinate sequencing to maintain workflow and productivity
• Conduct daily site inspections for progress, workmanship and safety
• Lead weekly coordination and look-ahead planning meetings
• Enforce safety policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify scope changes and manage change with the project team
