Job summary

Marble Group in Canberra is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a background in commercial joinery, shopfitting or construction to own on-site delivery of high-end installations. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction, joinery or shopfitting.
• Strong understanding of building methods and site requirements.
• Experience coordinating installation teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and WHS compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and delivery of commercial joinery projects from site start to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise installation teams, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Monitor progress, costs, timelines and project requirements with Project Managers.
• Liaise with clients, builders and other trades to ensure coordination.
• Review site conditions, drawings and project requirements to identify issues early.
• Ensure tools, materials and resources are available to meet commitments.
• Monitor workmanship and maintain quality standards.
• Complete site reports and progress updates.
• Maintain proactive problem solving and resolve site issues.
• Uphold WHS policies and conduct safety inspections.
• Ensure work aligns with procedures and client expectations.
