Job summary

Bridgit, a fast-growing fintech lender in Australia, is seeking a Senior Settlements Officer to join our Sydney team. You’ll work closely with Credit, Sales and Operations, brokers and clients to support settlement and repayment of loans in a high-velocity environment.

You’ll ensure all documentation meets requirements, prepare loan instructions for panel lawyers, and keep systems up to date to move loans through the settlements pipeline efficiently and on time.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a settlements role.
• Experience in residential lending settlements, including funding and discharges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Delivery-focused with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the business.
• Ability to manage multiple files and identify process improvements.
• Friendly, energetic, authentic and helpful approach.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Credit, Sales and Operations teams, brokers and clients to support settlement and repayment of loans.
• Ensure all supporting documentation is collected and meets Credit Team requirements.
• Prepare loan documents instructions for panel lawyers for funding and discharges.
• Keep internal systems up to date with progress through settlements pipeline.
• Liaise with Credit, Sales, Treasury and other teams to move loans through pipeline within SLA.
• Manage security packet record keeping.
