Job summary

Ambition Group in Sydney is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee Corporate Actions and Settlements within Banking Services Operations. You will lead onshore/offshore processing teams, drive process improvements, and support regulatory reporting, with an emphasis on risk controls and client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services with custody operations.
• Hands-on settlements experience covering cash and securities.
• Experience with corporate actions is a plus.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of escalation for onshore settlements and corporate actions
• Serve as SME across AU/NZ settlement and corporate action processes
• Support development of team members and operating controls
• Own resolution of reconciliation breaks for onshore teams
• Lead 1LOD/2LOD testing and regulatory reporting support
