Bechtel, a global engineering leader, seeks a senior services estimating specialist in Sydney to provide technical guidance, governance and quality reviews across projects, proposals and business lines. You will lead the preparation, review and presentation of estimates, basis of estimate documents and price assumptions to support profitability and competitive bids.

Requires approximately 15 years of estimating, cost engineering or related experience, with deep knowledge of civil and marine

Qualifications

Approximately 15 years of relevant estimating, cost engineering, construction, project controls or engineering experience.
Strong understanding of civil and marine construction methods, productivity drivers and constructability.
Ability to prepare, review and present estimates across multiple project stages.
Proven ability to work with stakeholders across engineering, procurement and planning.

Responsabilités

Lead the development, review and validation of services estimates across proposals and projects.
Coordinate with functional managers to align staffing, costs and basis of estimate documentation.
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to improving estimating tools and templates.
