Job summary

IOOF Holdings Limited in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Engineer to design, build and support high-quality ServiceNow solutions that enhance service delivery and automate business processes.

This hands-on role collaborates with stakeholders, drives platform adoption, and oversees integrations, upgrades and lifecycle activities while delivering secure and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience within a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience across ServiceNow development, including ITSM and modules such as GRC, ITAM, BCM, SecOps, Enterprise Architecture or SPM.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification, with additional ServiceNow certifications highly regarded.
• Experience designing workflows, business rules, forms, catalog items and automation solutions.
• Knowledge of API integrations and web technologies, including REST/SOAP, HTML and CSS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical and efficient solutions for complex challenges.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and document scalable ServiceNow applications, workflows and platform components that align with business needs and platform best practices.
• Translate business requirements into practical, sustainable technical solutions across ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities.
• Deliver workflow, service catalogue and automation enhancements that improve service delivery and reduce manual effort.
• Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using approved integration patterns and technologies.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, conduct root cause analysis and resolve defects to maintain platform stability and performance.
• Manage platform lifecycle activities, including releases, deployments, cloning, upgrades and regression testing.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions are secure, controlled and fit for purpose.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver sustainable outcomes supported by quality documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
