Job summary

Optus is seeking a Service Delivery Provisioning Manager to lead end-to-end delivery and activation of complex telecom services for enterprise, wholesale and consumer customers in Sydney. You will oversee a team of about 10 Network Engineers across the full order-to-activation lifecycle, driving quality, speed and automation across voice, data and connectivity products.

The role requires deep telecom experience, strong leadership and a track record in OSS/BSS, with exposure to platforms like

Qualifications

8+ years in telecommunications with 3+ years leading provisioning teams.
Experience owning service delivery provisioning at scale for voice/data.
Strong knowledge of enterprise connectivity and voice services.
Familiar with OSS/BSS and order management platforms; ITSM tools advantageous.
Automation and scripting, particularly Python, preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead provisioning operations across the Optus product catalogue, meeting SLA and activation targets.
Coach and manage a team of Network Engineers, building capability and capacity.
Govern outsourced partners with clear quality standards and KPIs.
Escalation authority for complex provisioning issues and blocker removal.
Monitor cycle time, backlogs, SLA compliance and vendor quality, reporting to leaders.
Partner with Product, Sales, Solutions Architecture and IT platform owners for readiness.
Identify recurring issues and drive automation initiatives across provisioning.
Prepare the team for new ways of working and embed new tech and processes.
