Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Manager, Semiconductor Sourcing (Starlink) to own end-to-end strategy, supplier management, and delivery of cutting-edge components. You will partner with design engineering to define roadmaps and build vendor ecosystems for high-speed production.

You will lead a team of sourcing professionals, negotiate long-term contracts, and optimize cost, quality, and resilience across Starlink programs. Onsite in Redmond, WA with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 6+ years of experience in purchasing, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, or engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a management role with direct reports.
• Experience negotiating contracts and sourcing suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sourcing specialists, sourcing managers, and/or global supply managers to ensure continuity of supply for all hardware within the scope of ownership.
• Drive improvement, standardization, and scalability of planning, workflow, tools and resources.
• Own vision and strategy for assigned categories through NPI and production phases; manage cost, contracts and supplier performance.
