Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sourcing Manager for Capital Equipment & Construction (Starlink) to drive procurement and contract strategies across construction projects. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize costs, manage supplier performance, and ensure timely project execution.

The role requires deep experience in engineering, purchasing, and contract negotiations within a fast-moving aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or operations/supply chain management.
• Experience in construction, facilities, or industrial plant management is preferred.
• Strong budget tracking and cost analytics skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process for project execution.
• Create and execute equipment and services procurement strategies for construction projects.
• Perform market analysis to achieve best purchasing deals for equipment and services.
• Prepare and negotiate contract documents with the legal team.
• Track spend, assess budget risk, and provide analysis for management decisions.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract adherence and issue resolution.
• Present value propositions related to contracts, cost reviews, and supply issues.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and coordinate with stakeholders for updates.
• Conduct quantitative analyses to assess financial impact and performance.
• Lead KPI development for supplier performance and procurement processes.
• Lead RFPs and place purchase orders to fulfill defined categories.
