Job summary

Fortis Security is seeking a Senior Security Technician / Project Manager to deliver electronic security projects across Queensland. The role blends hands-on installation, commissioning and client-facing project delivery with leadership of technicians, subcontractors and suppliers.

You will manage timeframes, materials and resources, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and ensure safe, professional, high-quality outcomes. Experience with Gallagher-like platforms is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with electronic security systems.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intercom, intrusion and integrated systems.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Relevant industry licences.
• Full-time, permanent work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning and service works.
• Coordinate project timeframes, materials and resources.
• Liaise with clients, builders, consultants and internal teams.
• Support project planning, delivery, handover and closeout.
• Carry out technical fault-finding, commissioning and system configuration.
• Ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, variations and project tracking.
