Job summary

Profectus is seeking multiple experienced Senior Systems Analysts to support a cyber security uplift program within an Australian Government agency. You will analyse, design and document ICT solutions that turn cyber security, compliance and operational requirements into technical requirements aligned with the agency’s architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience translating cyber security, compliance and operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Proven ability to develop system specifications and solution designs for security remediation.
• Familiarity with PSFP/ISM/Essential Eight/NIST frameworks and controls.
• Ability to document security architecture and system dependencies for accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements for cyber security uplift initiatives.
• Develop system specifications and solution designs for security remediation and risk reduction.
• Support vulnerability management, IAM, security monitoring and compliance workstreams.
• Assess existing ICT systems to identify security gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Produce process models, data flows and integration diagrams.
• Document system functionality, controls and dependencies to support accreditation.
• Carry out technical assessments covering feasibility, risks and costs.
• Plan and conduct testing activities and defect management.
• Peer review specifications and designs; guide other staff.
• Manage lifecycle of changes to systems.
• Collaborate with cyber security, infra, engineering and operations teams.
• Lead and coach team members; set priorities and develop work plans.
