Job summary

Profectus is seeking multiple Senior Systems Analysts to support a cyber security uplift program for an Australian Government agency. You will analyse and document ICT solutions, turning cyber security and compliance requirements into technical designs aligned with agency architectures.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, solution design, security remediation, accreditation support, and collaboration with cyber security, infrastructure, engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Senior systems analysis experience at EL1 level or equivalent
• Translating cyber security, compliance and operational requirements into technical solutions in large ICT environments
• Supporting large-scale cyber security uplift programs including vulnerability management and compliance
• Applying PSPF/ISM/Essential Eight and NIST guidance to solutions
• Requirements definition and management, systems design, software feasibility assessments
• System integration and data flow modelling
• Contributing to SSPs and SRAs
• Engaging with executives, technical staff and external providers
• Security architectures and control implementation
• Business process modelling and requirements management

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements for cyber security uplift initiatives
• Develop system specifications and solution designs for security remediation
• Support vulnerability management, IAM, security monitoring and compliance workstreams
• Assess existing ICT systems to identify security gaps and inefficiencies
• Produce process models, integration diagrams and data flows
• Document system functionality, controls and dependencies for accreditation
• Plan and conduct testing activities and defect management
• Peer review specs, designs and test documents and mentor staff
• Manage lifecycle of changes and improvements to systems
• Coordinate with cyber security, infrastructure and operations teams
• Lead and coach team members and set priorities
