Job summary

Voyages Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT is seeking a Senior Security Officer to live and work onsite. You will lead Security Officers, coordinate security operations, and ensure the safety of staff, guests, and residents at the resort.

Required are a Certificate II in Security and Senior First Aid, plus licenses such as ASIC, NT Security Officer, Crowd Control and RSA, with a valid Australian Driver’s Licence. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in a landmark location awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate II in Security & Senior First Aid (both current).
• Ability to obtain ASIC.
• Ability to obtain NT Security Officer and Crowd Control licenses.
• Ability to obtain RSA (Alcohol).
• Valid Full Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor guest and resident behaviours and respond to complaints and incidents promptly.
• Patrol, guard and protect staff, guests and infrastructure, responding to alarm calls on foot or by vehicle.
• Report unauthorised personnel on site to management.
• Act as team leader for Security Officers, coordinating resources and maintaining service standards.
• Lead security operations in absence of management to ensure safety of the Resort.

An Epic Icon needs an Epic Team! Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Senior Security Officer to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Security Officer to ensure the safety of all staff, guests, trainees and residents and the security of all assets belonging to Voyages Ayers Rock Resort, Yulara. The Senior Security Officer provides day-to-day operational leadership to Security Officers and, in the absence of Security Management and the Security Supervisor, assumes responsibility for directing and coordinating security operations across the Resort.

To be considered for this role we ask you to have:

• Minimum Certificate II in Security & Senior First Aid Certificate (both current for minimum 6 months)
• Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC (Aviation Security identity Card)
• The ability to obtain and hold a Northern Territory Security Officer and Crowd Control licenses
• The ability to obtain and hold your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
• Valid Full Australian Drivers Licence

Key Duties

• Monitor guest and resident’s behaviours and respond to complaints and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
• Patrolling, watching, guarding and protecting VITA people and infrastructure including responding to alarm call outs (Fire/Security). These tasks may be undertaken on foot or in a vehicle.
• Ensuring any unauthorised personnel on site are reported to management.
• Act as the designated team leader for Security Officers, providing operational guidance, coordinating resources, and maintaining service delivery standards.
• In the absence of the Security Manager, Assistant Security Manager and Security Supervisor, assumes responsibility for directing security operations and leading the security team to ensure the continued safety and security of the Resort
