Job summary

SEEK is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen cyber security posture across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will lead incident response and detection engineering programs, identify threats, and collaborate with product teams to integrate security into design.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in information security with hands-on AWS, GCP and Azure experience, plus a collaborative, continuous-learning mindset and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in information security, focusing on operations, incident response and detection engineering.
• Leading or supporting incident response across cloud environments including AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Understanding of cloud-native logs, telemetry and forensic artefacts for evidence analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and communicate potential threats targeting SEEK and its customers.
• Research threat landscape to inform strategic, tactical and operational priorities.
• Investigate incidents to determine root cause, attack vectors and techniques.
• Support threat intelligence and detection programs, mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Identify gaps and provide practical recommendations to improve security capability.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, response procedures and security techniques.
• Partner with development teams to bake security, trust and privacy into design.
• Foster a strong security culture and prioritise remediation where it matters most.
