Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to protect cloud and corporate environments, lead complex incident investigations, and drive DFIR, detection engineering, automation, and threat intelligence across a 24/7 security operation.

You will collaborate with engineering, legal, product, and communications teams, mentor peers, and help mature incident response capabilities while shaping scalable detection and response workflows in a globally distributed organization.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in security incident response and investigations, especially in cloud environments.
• Hands-on DFIR methods and ability to operate during high-severity security events.
• Experience using Git or GitLab in security or engineering contexts.
• Practical experience with SIEM, EDR, detection engineering, or related security monitoring tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end response to high-severity incidents across cloud and corporate environments.
• Cover the APAC operating window within a 24/7 follow-the-sun model and rotate on-call.
• Prepare clear executive communications that keep stakeholders informed during incidents.
• Conduct complex security investigations using DFIR methodologies.
• Partner with Detection Engineering to improve SIEM use cases, alerting, and telemetry pipelines.
• Build and enhance automation and AI-assisted workflows for triage and response.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence to contextualize threats and strengthen detection coverage.
• Lead post-incident root-cause analyses and translate findings into improved controls and processes.
• Develop and maintain incident response runbooks and playbooks.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to improving the team's incident response maturity.
