Job summary

Teamified is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to continuously monitor security events across diverse client environments and respond rapidly to incidents. You will investigate, contain, and resolve threats while developing robust detection playbooks and enhancing security operations through automation.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver expert security analysis and actionable recommendations, including evaluating new tooling and AI-enabled approaches for SOC

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of threat actor behaviour, tradecraft and the attack lifecycle.
• Broad understanding of networking, infrastructure, and operating systems.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise and multi-task under pressure.
• Desirable: automation design, analytical models, and experience with generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and triage alerts quickly to reduce MTTR.
• Monitor customer environments proactively to improve detection speed and confidence.
• Tune and build alerting rules to minimise false positives and enhance accuracy.
• Create clear documentation and playbooks to accelerate response workflows.
• Engage with customers and manage escalations to improve satisfaction and trust.
• Automate repetitive alert handling to increase efficiency.
• Implement AI/ML solutions to lower MTTD and MTTR.
• Continuously refine detection and automation models to achieve reliable outcomes.
