Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
• Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE) program for Years 10–12.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Principal Secondary to provide a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Assist students with course selection and goal setting across their study areas.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse student needs and actively contribute to a calm, inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with students, families and staff to support student learning and wellbeing.
