Job summary

Newman Senior High School is seeking a highly organised, solutions-focused leader to join our team as Program Coordinator - School Operations & SIDE. This permanent, full-time role commences Term 1, 2027.

The successful candidate will partner with the Principal to run whole-school operations and lead the SIDE program for distance education. Responsibilities include relief staffing, timetabling, education assistant coordination, PD days, assemblies, examinations, NAPLAN and OLNA, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Experienced educator with leadership experience.
• Ability to organise, prioritise and deliver across multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with staff, students and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate school operations and the SIDE program.
• Oversee relief staffing, timetabling and coordination of education assistants.

We're hiring: Program Coordinator - School Operations & SIDE

Newman Senior High School is looking for a highly organised, solutions-focused leader to join our team as Program Coordinator - School Operations & School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE).

This is a permanent, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027.

The role has two key areas of leadership: keeping whole-school operations running smoothly, and leading our SIDE program to support students undertaking distance education. You'll work closely with the Principal and administration team across relief staffing, timetabling, education assistant coordination, professional development days, assemblies, whole-school events, examinations, NAPLAN and OLNA.

You'll also strengthen our partnership with SIDE and provide active support and mentoring to students, working with families and staff to monitor engagement, progress and achievement.

$10,210 p.a. Country Teaching Program Allowance
