Job summary

DSV Global Transport and Logistics in Alexandria NSW is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate export/import consignments from origin to destination, compiling and verifying required documents in line with company policy and external regulations.

Key duties include processing export sea consignments to meet customer KPIs, collaborating with the Export Sea team, data entry in CW1, and supporting senior management with day-to-day tasks and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with export/import shipments and logistics operations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (RACA, IATA, Dangerous Goods).
• Proficiency with Cargowise One and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure export sea consignments are processed to meet customer expectations and designated KPIs
• Work with Export Sea team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered
• Carry out export work flow processes per management directive, customer instructions, SOPs
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers (internal and external), suppliers and service providers both locally and overseas.
• Ability to problem solve Export issues with a range of stakeholders including airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders and customers.
• Enter data into CW1, accurately and in a timely manner
• Compatible in ECNs & PRA s
• Plan and prioritize export shipments from the Export Workbench to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs and deadlines.
• Calculate monetary issues such as invoice costings, GST, etc. and weights and measures in relation to load sizes, space availability, etc.
• Implement and monitor process improvements
• Support the Senior Team Lead & Manager with day to day activities, and other reasonable tasks and projects as required

The position is responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export/Import consignments from origin to destination by compiling, completing and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.

Key Tasks

Ensure export sea consignments are processed to meet customer expectations and designated KPIs

Work together with Export Sea team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered
