Job summary

Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support a major transformation portfolio within a leading Australian financial services organisation in Sydney. You will coach squads, facilitate ceremonies and partner with Product Owners to drive delivery across insurance and finance platforms.

You will remove impediments, manage dependencies, develop roadmaps, and shape initiatives with stakeholders across business, product and technology.

Qualifications

Strong experience as a Senior Scrum Master within complex technology environments.
Preferred Insurance, Banking or regulated financial services experience.
Demonstrated Agile coaching, facilitation and continuous improvement capability.
Experience managing backlogs, priorities, dependencies and cross-team delivery.
Confidence working with business and technical stakeholders and challenging decisions constructively.
Ability to develop practical roadmaps and work within a hybrid Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Coach squads in Agile and Scrum practices and facilitate effective ceremonies.
Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritisation and delivery planning.
Remove impediments, manage dependencies and coordinate delivery across teams.
Develop high-level roadmaps and build strong partnerships across business, product and technology.
Shape initiatives and prepare work ahead of execution teams.
Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects and technology leaders to assess ideas.
Clarify business needs, test viability and define success measures.
Establish effective discovery, prioritisation and handover processes.
