Job summary

IBC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join a leading finance organisation in Sydney. You will lead Agile squads through complex initiatives, uplift delivery capability, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a regulated environment, migrating to modern cloud platforms.

This hands-on role requires strong Agile practices, collaboration with technology, product, and business stakeholders, and excellent stakeholder management in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master in enterprise environments.
• Experience with End User Computing programs.
• Experience within financial services organisations is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Experience collaborating with engineering, DevOps and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, showcases).
• Lead and coach squads through end-to-end delivery.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain prioritised, value-driven backlogs.
• Drive Agile maturity and continuous improvement across teams.
• Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) tracking and reporting.
• Engage senior stakeholders and provide clear, concise delivery updates.
• Support delivery alignment within a regulated finance/insurance environment.

About the Role

You'll work closely with technology, product, and business stakeholders to enable smooth migration to modern cloud platforms while embedding strong Agile practices across teams.
