Job summary

The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) seeks a Senior Scientist Environmental Forensics to deliver complex environmental forensics and analytical chemistry projects that provide scientific evidence to support pollution investigations and informed decision-making across NSW.

Based in Lidcombe, this permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week) offers a competitive salary relative to experience, with a range from $128,052 to $142,649 plus super.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental forensics and analytical chemistry investigations.
• Ability to design and deliver rigorous scientific studies with data interpretation.
• Strong communication of complex science to diverse audiences.
