Job summary

Bemin Secondary College is seeking a proactive Assistant Principal/Senior School leader to guide Year 10–12 programs and Applied Learning, reporting to the College Principal. The role focuses on shaping a safe, inclusive senior learning environment, leading staff, and aligning programs with VCAA guidelines and college strategy.

The successful candidate will model high-quality teaching, lead school improvement initiatives, and work with families to support students’ wellbeing and achievements

Qualifications

• Educational leadership demonstrated across school levels.
• Proven ability to lead and manage change and resource oversight.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse contexts.
• Strategic planning and policy implementation aligned to school goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage significant areas or functions within the school.
• Oversee program development, budget, and staffing within designated area.
• Collaborate with Executive Team on school improvement and policies.
• Support Year 10–12 Senior School pathways and applied learning.
• Drive professional learning, curriculum design, and student wellbeing initiatives.
