Job summary

FinXL Professional Services Pty is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead complex software projects using SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, Angular and Node JS. The role focuses on technical leadership, quality assurance and delivery within a government/large-scale environment.

The position requires strong architectural mindset, ability to manage stakeholder relationships, and a track record of delivering robust software in tight timelines. 12-month contract with extension options available.

Qualifications

• Proven senior software engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP development.
• Strong background in modern frontend/backend technologies (Angular, Node.js).

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, prototyping, design, development, testing and maintenance of complex solutions.
• Establish high-quality code and long-term maintainability strategies.
• Manage releases, go-live support and post-release reviews as needed.
• Lead and coach staff to improve performance and engagement.
• Analyze technical requirements and resolve complex ICT issues.
• Engage stakeholders and partners to build service delivery capability.
• Monitor emerging technologies and build technology roadmaps.
